I want to give this place 5 stars but I can t. I loved the location and I got a great deal on my room, and the property is absolutely stunning. There were some issues though. The toilet leaked from the bottom and for four days I couldn t get someone to come look at it. They were short staffed and I m in no way complaining about that (I understand completely), there were things that should ve been posted on the resort s website. Things like, the very limited available food and snack options, and the bar only being open for a couple hours Saturdays and Sundays. All prior signage remains so it s confusing. Other than that, I really loved this DoubleTree and I had such high hopes for this stay. I was disappointed but I will definitely try staying here again once everything opens back up and they re fully staffed again.
