Outpatient labs drawn for a consulting physician. ...

Outpatient labs drawn for a consulting physician. Numerous calls to First Assist Urgent Care Jonesborough, where labs were drawn to obtain results of labs. When I the patient, called First Assist to yet again attempt to obtain reports, I was informed; '' we always inform patients, lab reports do not return to us, they are sent to Synergy Labs and they send reports to physician's office''. This was never mentioned at First Assist. In calling Synergy Labs I was informed they could not provide lab reports to patients over the phone. I was told to call MSHA medical record at number 431-6523. Upon calling this number to MSHA medical record department, this message was received, ''if you receive this message before 11PM, do not leave a recording as this is not a valid voice message, call back. If after 11PM, call the hospital operator and have the house supervisor paged.'' I went through this process THREE times and yet have someone actually answer the medical records phone number. So, one month after having lab work drawn I have hit a brick wall, so to speak in obtaining reports that are needed as I am due to return to primary physician's office in two days to evaluate reports to assist in making a diagnosis. Problems encountered in having blood drawn at First Assist Urgent Care in Jonesborough; I was not informed reports did not come back to that facility, physician's office called several times to First Assist to obtain lab reports, patient called First Assist, informed to call Synergy Labs for report, Synergy Labs informed patient they cannot give patient results over the phone, patient informed to call MSHA medical records department to obtain reports. Encountered above message from medical records as stated above times three. End result, no report of lab tests drawn over one month ago.
