Review of Affordable Drain Service

We had a backed up bathroom sink that just was not...

We had a backed up bathroom sink that just was not flowing in our '54 house.. We suffered for months with a slow drain until it finally stopped working.

We shopped several companies, including reviews, Affordable Drain Service was the best in price ($88 flat fee for up to 1.5hrs labor). Called at 10am on a Monday, they scheduled a crew for a very tight window of 3-5pm (ask the cable company to do that!)...

I told them that I would be home all day and if something else opened up earlier it was cool. 12:30 I get a call, they had a cancelation and were in the area. Truck arrived 20mins later, two guys (Nick and Stephen), both friendly with me and the dog (who is skittish about anyone that gives off a bad vibe).

They had me sign an estimate for the $88 plus additional $10 for a part if required (it was not!).

They did their thing with the snake, took out all the gunk 20ft down the pipes and were gentle enough to protect our dated cast iron system.

Total time, 50mins from doorbell to credit card payment.

The little things that matter:
- Good documentation up front, nothing sneaky
- Friendly guys that are cool with dogs, the dog was leaning hard against Stephen getting massive pets within 5mins, rare for new people
- Quick work.. They knew what was gonna happen, took charge, and just did it, I did not even needed to supervise.
- Tested everything, multiple times
- Clean up: They brought their own towels, not like with my other plumber. They even sanitized the work area, back wall, cabinet floor and toilet.

In all, highly recommended, will use them again.
