My two preschool aged kids take a music class here...

My two preschool aged kids take a music class here that is much more focused on music theory than a place like Gymboree. But still super fun for the kids! My youngest took Gymboree for a year but at 2.5 years old is slowly growing out of that and into real music. They expose them to notes and a bunch of real instruments so when the time comes at age 5 or 6 they'll be able to choose the instrument they WANT to play!!!
