Emitting 30000 tonnes of greenhouse gases per year...

Emitting 30000 tonnes of greenhouse gases per year is not worthy of a higher education institution like Mc Gill University. This news in the media today has shocked me. I really thought, wrongly, that the McGill institution was rather a leader in the vanguard and an example for the students it trains. Clearly, its leaders do not know how to prioritize and direct research investments strategically. What a desappointment !
