Visited this venue 2 years ago for a conference. The cost of parking was outrageous. The Hotel didn't bother clearing the snow from their walkways are parking lots so it was almost impossible to leave the building and get across the street. Getting your car out is incredibly difficult so you end up walking. Unfortunately, there's only one half decent restaurant within walking distance. I am back for conference again this year and I'm running into problems with them already. I haven't even arrived yet. I just spent 50 minutes on the phone trying to find out what arrangements could be made for my room because of a snowstorm. The hotel was not answering the phone so I got transferred to International customer service. They couldn't help and try to transfer me back. I ended up getting cut off in the process. I called back to the hotel and ended up speaking with someone named Nate. I was shocked at how rude this person was. I then tried to call Marriott customer service to report him and ended up on hold for another 10 minutes before hanging up. According to Nate, this hotel doesn't begin function till after 9 so I will call back then and decide if I'm canceling the reservation.
