How about they lower a couple of those flags.

How about they lower a couple of those flags.

Make sure you do your research. Look up the best places to eat beforehand, check with the locals to see what rides are closed, don t get flash passes, and make sure to bring quite a load of money if you plan to do anything other than ride.

Firstly, let s talk about the park experience: the weather was nice, the entrance wasn t crowded, and parking didn t take too long. It does have mosquitoes, wasps, bees, etc., but it didn t effect us too much. If you plan to go more than once, get a season pass cup. If not, you won t get as many refills to have the day cup have much value. We went to Johnny Rockets, and instantly regretted it. $50 for 4 burgers, fries, and drinks. Felt a little too expensive until we got our food, after about 30 minutes. It was the worst hamburger I ve ever had. I literally think the burgers at my high school are better. No refills, which was at no surprise, and left me sick. Thankfully I had time to recover at the lines.

Oh yeah, the lines. At any amusement park, you should expect lines. Don t get flash passes, most rides don t have lanes for them. Thankfully we went through most of the high volume rides before a ton of people were there and had 5 minute lines. After about 12, the lines get pretty long, but after getting off of a ride, I never felt like I waited that long for THAT!? However, this could be due to many closed rides.

This may have just been an issue with our visit, but we had about 3 ride cancellations while in line. And we hadn t just gotten in the line, we were already about 30 minutes in. I m glad they didn t make us go on UNSAFE rides, it s just that the execution could ve been better.

Overall, a pretty good experience, but make sure you do your research.
