Dr J wrote the incorrect cause of death on my mother s death certificate, and refused to speak with me on this matter.
Dr. J threaten me with discontinuing my mother s care because I stood up to the rudeness of the after-hours call center staff when they were rude to me, did not return phone calls, and gave conflicting information.
RCC has a poor after hours operation based on my direct experience of them.
Dr. J would not coordinate with my mother s cardiologist and I had to orchestra that and insist on it very assertively which seemed to knock his ego out of whack.
Dr J sent my mother too two specialists whom were both a waste of time and effort and money.
I would not recommend this facility, or care team under any circumstances.
For this area, maybe they are considered top notch, but compared to other areas, and more urban areas, they cannot compete.
Ego, I d say, is the main problem here.
Plus, ETSU is not a good medical school so using those types of physicians may not be best.
This is how I feel based on my experiences.
