I ve stayed in different hostels across the world,...

I ve stayed in different hostels across the world, from the jungles of Africa, the mountains of Asia, the Alps; the Far East of Europe, Caribbean, both North & South America and all these hostel had two things in common, vibrancy and affordability. Sadly here there seems to be lack of vibrancy, there are long term residents who are bully and so rude. I don t know if it s because most of the time I ll only be a person of color. I have been subjected to the most inhuman treatment so far but I m so damn loyal to the place. The reception is on point, polite and patient folks who will assist you with anything from your booking, cancellation, extension and recommendations for place to have the best and cheapest meal.

Now in terms of the rooms, know that this isn t a 5 star hotel, the price says it all. So they are just like any other hostel, nothing fancy, only that with this one, their mattresses are too hard and solid; they aren t comfy at all, some rooms are way too small and you hav to share two shower rooms with close to 24 people who live in two rooms adjusted to each other. This is disgusting to say the least, only in a prison can 24 people share two shower rooms. This violate all health and safety regulations

Further, their breakfast is so limited and so basic, every time after eating it, I feel sick, to be honest, it s unhygienic. The plates, cups and spoons are washed by individuals, the management or staff never clean them once in a week at the very least, so make sure you clean an item before and after using it unless you are ready to fall sick

Overall rating I ll give this place 3 star. The location is good as you aren t far from pubs and all that.
