Sabanci Central Mosque was built in 1998 in the center of Adana, on the banks of the Seyhan River.
It is the largest mosque in the Middle East and the Balkans with an area of 60 acres and 13 acres of indoor space.
The mosque was built in the architecture of Selimiye Mosque and its minarets were built in the form of Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque)
