My sister in law and I took my mom for her birthday last week. We purchased the package through Groupon for the 1 hour massage and 1 hour facial. My masseuse was a little late due to miscommunication so my facial was only 25 minutes. I didn t make a stink about it though because the day was all about my mom.

21 years ago my mom had two strokes back to back and now suffers from bad vertigo. She is unable to lay flat on her back or stomach so she has only gotten massages in the chairs. Her masseuse was awesome and decided to give her a pregnancy massage (on her sides) and propped her up with some pillows. It was the first time she has gotten a full body massage since before her strokes.

Seeing how happy my mom was after her visit left me very happy with deciding to go with essential spa and salon. She wound up booking her next appointment for her facial and wants to bring me back for some more massages.

This will be my new spot to bring my friends for a girls day whenever I am back visiting in town. My masseuse was a man (I can t remember his name) but he was amazing. I go for a massage once a month, since I have scoliosis and I work on my feet all day I m always in pain, and I felt so much more relaxed and rejuvenated after this massage than any other.

I highly recommend this place for their friendly staff, white glove clean establishment, and great prices.
