I have happily lived at Asbury now nine years. Two years ago my husband died, and I began to look for ways to cut down on expenses. I became aware that my apartment really has more space than I need for contentment. So I talked to Louise Stewart, who was my move-in coordinator and she was very helpful. After checking out possibilities, she found a smaller apartment to show me. I had hoped that if I moved I might find a ground level apartment because I have a pug that requires regular walks. I was delighted to find the apartment she showed me not only was on the ground floor but it also had a patio. I will save enough money on service fees to cover the rise in price we get each year. So I am confident that I will be able to cover future expenses and still live fully as I have the last nine years. I benefited from this change, but I also hope that Asbury can benefit from being able to resell the larger space to new residents.
