My partner and I stayed overnight in the junior spa suite as a gift to celebrate our engagement. The room itself was large and acceptable despite being very outdated and needing a big of general love and attention. We were told we were getting a view with our room but instead enjoyed the beautifully disappointing view of the building next door. Breakfast was included as part of our package also and saying it was a let down is putting it incredibly nicely. The pancake machine was out of order, mostly everything in the 'cooked' breakfast was empty, so we had to wait around for it to be restocked. Once we managed to get a plate the food was just plain awful - cold, under cooked, rubbery and stale. We didn't really mind the outdated room but the breakfast killed it for us. Would not recommend at all!

A month later, after a pitiful apology and a promise for the hotel manager to contact me to discuss this, I have heard nothing and have contacted Stamford again. I am absolutely appalled by their service and would encourage them, in future, to be more than just "somewhat concerned" (their words) with such a negative review.
