So, so, so, so bad. Though I have 4 other servicers who process an annual reapplication for IBR (with zero problems), UHEAA didn't process correctly and it took me A YEAR, yes, A YEAR, of literally HOURS of phone calls, including talking to 2 managers, and finally the ombudsman, to get things straight. Since my husband works from home he witnessed most of these calls and once offered to pour me a glass of wine at NOON since I was on hold for 40 minutes before calmly stating my case to another inept customer service person who couldn't help me...again. And all of this - every step, every call, every fax - was documented (by me). It was a hairpullingoutofyourhead experience. A black hole of ineptitude and despair. I know this sounds like a bit much, but it's true. This is the worst loan servicer in the history of time. Okay, fine, in the history of my time.
