The DD15 is a good motor and I've never had any major issues with this motor other than the miserable DEF system. It's a horrible system and they should be ashamed of this junk. Even their own techs say its junk and they say that the software system to diagnose issues is even worse. Detroit Diesel is intentionally ripping people off with the corrupt system. The engineers are incompetent fools. I spent 35,000.00 at 6 shops in 6 weeks because of this ignorance and this horrible system. I will be filing lawsuits of fraud against detroit diesel. Plus they won't address this complete fraud when you contact them.
