Very disappoint service experience.

Very disappoint service experience.

My wife 2015 RDX with 85,xxx Km got trouble code P0848 from my local garage. transmission is not engaged properly and then Car just jumps No 3 gear. Symptoms are consistent with an error code. Symptoms appeared 4 days in a row They advised us to go dealer shops because the car is under extended warranty.

I took the car to North York Acura. Explain everything to Advisor named Eric . He wanted us to pay a Diagnostic fee ($135) to find out regardless. It was strange that why I have to pay the fee the car was under warranty but I accepted their policy. he wasn't nice to explain or listen to our concern.

Few hours after he called me Now it became horrible.

Here are what they are saying,
1, No problem found in 1 hour.
-- It looks Not enough effort to diagnostic

2, No warranty repair without Error code.

Small Garage found the problem but dealer shop couldn t find problem with same car. No sense at all

3, What makes me so upset is here. This is ridiculous

If I pay for service, not the Warranty claim, they can fix it for us.
Eric admitted symptom and error code are matched.

4, This is getting worse

He asked me to take the car where I bought from( which is Erin mill Acura We lived in Richmond Hill) Let them deal with
My wife and me like What""Why What kinds of service is like that Zero customer service mind Big upset and Disappointment.
We couldn t stand anymore with all kinds of odd situation, attitude, No effort to diagnostic, forced pay us diagnostic fee without finding anything or doing anything.

We didn't any argument or anything with them. We decided to pick a car. One thing I asked Eric let us to speak with service manager with this issue. But no one called me back anything

Here are what we did after that

We contacted Road assistance to tow the car to another dealer shop (Because we don t feel the car is safe, Car is making sound and jumping) to have a second chance.
They advised me to try to update software based on what I described. There is no hassle. If symptoms happen again, They want to different direction to repair. It looks like customer-oriented service mind with a service plan. It is impressed. Thanks, Alen and Harry. My wife and me Like What a difference service Big Zero service from North York Acura to 5-star service from Erin Mill Acura
Thankfully, Car back to normal so far. Car looks great again.

My money just went into their pocket without any reason.
I am laughing at poor service. I wasted my time and energy at north york. it was an awful experience,.
