Two years my wife's diamond wedding band and earrings were stolen from our hotel room. Clearly it was from a member of the cleaning staff. Management & local police barely made an effort. Months later after repeated unreturned phone calls to both staff and police I was told "we haven't had a chance to interview anyone yet." This trip we leave our child's blanket behind. Call same day and leave a message with lost and found. Call the next day, the next....finally get a phone call back with a "we are still doing laundry and will search for it." Nothing after that. Brutal experiences.
