DO NOT choose Audi Santa Monica. I just recently tried getting my car serviced in Rancho Mirage because I live in Palm Springs. When I showed up to Rancho Mirage, they told me I didn t have Audi care and there was going to be a charge for my service. I told the service person that I do have Audi care. He said to call Santa Monica because it is possible they forgot to add it into the system. The first time I called Santa Monica at 10:30am, Karla answered and I told her my situation, and she transferred me to the finance department. The finance department didn t answer, so I left a voicemail explaining the situation and to give me a call back so I can get this resolved. I called SM again and Karla answered again and has me on hold for 10 minutes because she says that the finance manager will be coming in shortly and she will transfer me right away when she comes in.. again I was transferred and I got a voicemail. Third time I m calling SM and Karla transfers me to someone who says she can t help me and transfers me to someone else and then the phone hangs up on me. 4th time I m calling SM, speaking to Karla furiously because I would like to get my Audi care resolved and car serviced ASAP, and she transfers me to Monique (all of this calling and transferring and hanging up was an hour of my time). As I am speaking to Monique and telling her what I need resolved, she says that it looks like my Audi care wasn t activated in the system but she would activate it and I would be good to go. I asked her if she could call Rancho Mirage and let them know I have Audi care and see if I can get my car serviced that day because I work Monday-Friday and I had a weekday off specifically to get my car serviced. She says who did you speak with? And I said I don t know. She says, So you just want me to randomly call Audi to tell them that you have Audi care and I m not going to be able to get an appointment for your service because it doesn t work that way. So I said Yeah that s the least you can do and you don t need to get defensive with me because you guys are the ones who made this error and Monique says Okay I will call and let them know you have Audi care. I went through all of these inconveniences with Audi that day, and NOT ONCE did she apologize for the error that Audi Santa Monica made... just remember if you buy Audi care, make sure you remind them to activate it when you re signing up for it because apparently it s easily forgotten and the biggest inconvenience when you re trying to get your car serviced. Oh and I left a voicemail at 11am and Chandler gave me a call back at 5pm. That goes to show you how much they care about their customers.
