Staff was really great, the building could use a little help, nice but a bit worn, possibly due to nearby construction, but then most of Manhattan has nearby construction.
It bears repeating that the staff, from the room attendant to the front desk, and the restaurant, were all very hospitable and helpful with neighborhood recommendations. They were real pros
