Lots of veneer over the top of horrid, selfish service. Rooms are outdated in many of the hotel areas, even mold, mildew, and rust showing. Housekeeping didn't show up at all for the stay.

The condos are newer so you may have better luck, but never invest in such a poorly run property. No one seemed to even know what to do with a mildew issue, no alternate room was offered, and everyone just kept passing the buck. Between that and the other drama, wasted a better part of my vacation running in circles. Bottom line, don't waste your time. The property itself has allure due to the natural beauty all around the Shenandoah Valley, but you can find far superior places to stay, and definitely better values.

Food wise, the only place worth eating out of the four we tried was Base Camp. Thunderbird or Hank's a couple miles up theroad are far tastier and cheaper quality options.
