Nice area, beautiful view, the water is a nice, warm temperature -being warmer nearest the waterfall and cooler down the stream so try to get as high up as possible but the waterfall is VERY STRONG so the splashing in your face might not be as enjoyable as you'd like. It's not one of those with mud underneath, the floor is made of small stone pebbles so bring shoes for underwater and don't expect to get a mud mask.

During the Summer it gets quite full with tourists so try to come off-season, it is always warm and there is a small shop next door with a bathroom and even a shower.

Parking is free and on site. I recommend you bring shoes you can use inside the water as the stones inside the water are uncomfortable and sometimes there is broken glass outside the fall. Bring a towel and maybe even a bathrobe if its colder out.

The only this I didn't like was that there were these little red larvae which stuck to your skin as if they're eating off your dead skin cells! You can't see them outside of the water but as you get in and look at your surroundings you'll notice them very quickly as there are millions of them EVERYWHERE! After further research I've gathered that they are from a type of fly that is local and that they are harmless but it is a shock at first and takes some getting used to.

If you want to take Instagram-style photos I suggest you go early in the morning as most people start to come in after 9am.

You can bring food and drinks and make a day of it, and if you want a spot all to yourself you can go up the waterfall and pick some more private, cozy pools upstream or even downstream for even more privacy.
