I got my dream car! It was a black (my favorite color) 2010 Toyota Prius II. I saw it online, Mark Miller Toyota had one with the lowest miles AND more importantly the lowest price. I checked around quite extensively, so I knew before walking in there that I was already getting a deal. There was no bait-and-switch between the internet special price and the dealership price. We started at that price and then through some very low-pressure negotiations reached a price my wife and I were comfortable with. Before I get on to how great the people are, let me say that first Mark Miller Toyota is a very green facility, they are very conscious about the environment which I like. Also, it is an extremely nice facility. Besides a good selection of vehicles, they also have a rather extensive video game and play area for those of you that have kids you need to distract. They also have a pretty nice cafe with what looks like some pretty good food so you don't have to worry about starving through the car buying process if you don't want to. It is a very opulent building (even the bathrooms are immaculate and very luxurious).

Okay, now onto the people

We bought our car from Michael Maccarrone, a very knowledgable salesman from Long Island, New York. After a very relaxing drive with the Prius, we went in to negotiate. Everything was very relaxed, he is very friendly and he is a very talkative guy (it's a good thing, trust me). Anyways, my wife and I told him our parameters and what we were working with, and after a only about 20 minutes of VERY low pressure negotiating we got the car we wanted. I knew going in that we were getting a very good deal, having researched the normal retail value of the car online. Not only did Michael know his stuff, but EVERYTHING that I had previously searched online was restated by him. This gave me a good feeling that he treats his customers with the utmost respect and doesn't try and pull a fast one on them. I also have to give kudos to Mark, who I believe is Michael's manager. He ultimately was the one we negotiated with, but we were very upfront with him about our limitations and he was more than willing to work with us.

If this is too long and you don't want to read it, know this: Many of us fellows go into a car dealership expecting a battle, but at Mark Miller it's more of a gentleman's negotiation.

Lastly, I really want to give some praise to our finance director, Danny Van Gesen. LISTEN TO HIM! He is a VERY knowledgable guy when it comes to car financing and finances in general. My wife and I have kept our budgets tight and have been able to pay off all of our debt. We are VERY close to a Dave Ramsey style of financial mindset, BUT just always keep in mind that the most practical way IS the most economic way, even if it doesn't look like it at first glance.

I can't write enough good things about this place so STOP reading this very long-winded review and go to Mark Miller Toyota now!
