Recently received a bill for 342.50 for "Vacant electric" because it seems like we went over our 70 dollar electric cap at the Palo Duro Place apartments but I moved in in November of last year and was never even once told that I went over. I thought that the usage of my electric was staying under the 70 dollars and was just comfortable in that knowledge. Now I come to find out that we have that huge bill and that we are going to be required to pay it. Heather says that corporate made mistakes, Julie Lyons says it was the electric company who I am on hold with, and no one is telling the real truth. All I know is that now they tacked it on all together and we are responsible for it.
I would have loved to know the first month that it happened so I would have lowered my usage instead of being told now after February passed and we used the heater all winter. I feel sick and stressed and would rather live on the streets than put up with this treatment any further. I am so sorry that I trusted this place. I do not have the 1500 required to cut the lease short but boy do I wish I did. I hate living here and everyday that is cold due to the poor insulation they have and we are miserable now as I am afraid to use the heater because I am not sure how much I am going to go over.
