I came into OCI Monday, July 1, at 11 am as a walk...

I came into OCI Monday, July 1, at 11 am as a walk-in with a broken leg. (Doctor in St Thomas had Xrayed my leg the previous Thursday, showed me it was broken & immobilized it.)
Back in Spfld, OCI Receptionist got my info, told me where to sit & that someone would be right with me. & they were.
Vitals taken, I was told Dr. Senica would be right with me. And, the doctor was moments after an X-ray.
New X-ray showed the breaks. Because the breaks and bones all lined up that a boot would be the recommended way to go. No hesitation.
Doctor told me what to expect if I don t care of myself and length of time to heal. I m listening to the advice and will be back for a check up in a week.
Dr. Senica is excellent in quickly diagnosing the problem, recommending a course of healing and impacts if I do not follow her recommendations.
I appreciate that. My next marathon maybe a little bit more down the road.
I was home on the east side of Lake Springfield by 12:30!
