The flight was over an hour delayed but none of the information panels were updated. My gate listed another flight which had already departed so I went and to talk to the flight desk. It took a half hour for the kiosk lady to assist the one passenger in front of me... According to her this was because she kept messing up re-routing his flight. Ok. Then we board. We wait at the gate for half an hour then the taxi backs the plane out for departure. This is when the pilot announces that the gate crew added 1000 lbs of extra fuel to the jet! Apparently they got confused about which aircraft they were fueling. Thanks United. This means we have to sit on the tarmac for 30 minutes while the engines burn off the extra fuel! The most stupid airport in the country. 2 stars cus the stupid conversations you hear at the one bar can be hilariously ridiculous.
