Be very very careful placing your loved one here! My mothers husband William "Bill" Loftis was placed here by his son Peter Loftis and the staff was told not to let me or my mother, Bills wife of 25 years, Mary Lou Loftis, talk to him, mail him anything or see how he was doing in general. My mother married Bill Loftis in 1992 and they were still married while Bill was in St Ann's home. I tried time and time again to talk to Bill and was denied by the staff. This caused my mother to live the remaining 2 years of her life asking where her husband was over and over and over again. The staff at the nursing station was told by Peter Loftis not to let me talk to or inquire as to Bills well-being. Peter threw his elderly dad Bill up against a wall when Bill was 89 years old so I was so very very concerned about not knowing how my step dad was in Peters care. This devastated my mother and also Peter directed all of the income my mother and Bill shared together to Bills care alone causing even more unimaginable pain to my mother. Bills second wife, Marie Loftis was also a resident of St Ann's and not Bills wife at the time. Don't put your loved one here as the staff will not even let you know how they are doing. Not the way families should be treated.
