I am currently in Prepa Art so I could only give my opinion on this first year of training. Isart is a very dynamic school which asks us to outdo ourselves to give the best of ourselves. So it's very positive for a higher school, you will be in optimal conditions to improve quickly.
Speakers (In knowledge I will only speak those for the Prepa) with an experience that makes you want to progress. For some they can be quite hard and frank but for me it is an additional motivation. They're not there to belittle you, but to show you that you can give more, they're there to believe in your potential. You will have to work seriously to feel comfortable but drawing is a passion that is clearly try hard or Die and retry so you must already be aware if you like drawing;).

The atmosphere is quite healthy and pleasant for you to forge a warm class by communicating and sharing your passion with the rest of the students. Anticipate some tensions anyway when the pressure will mount around the partial ect ... but overall you will have a lot of fun!

Isart is a school I recommend because you will meet great people there and you will be in an environment that will make you want to work. The teachers will listen to you and if you ask them for advice they will be there for you. These are fascinating people who work in places that make you dream!

The school is private and therefore paying, so you must be ready to pay or by organizing yourself with a student loan. It s really not easy and it s a little scary but it s worth it. Note that the Prepa classes are classified by age, so you do not have to come to Isart just after leaving high school. Personally I took a year between Isart and the terminal. It allowed me to take a step back, to pass my license before arriving in Paris and especially to work to pay me the first year rather than starting directly with a student loan. This is only my experience, but if it can direct some ... or even give ideas. It can be scary to leave the school system but if you have the motivation to prove that you are worth something and that you do not stop drawing there is no reason why you are not caught.

Also note that from the second year at Isart you will only be at Richard Lenoir so it's up to you! But Vincennes is relatively close is a little cheaper than the 11th :)

What more can I say except that if you have the motivation necessary for the passion to create, you are welcome to Isart!
