This was literally the worst hotel stay I've ever had.
I stayed a few months ago in March 2017.
I booked 3 nights for 3 adults. I had my friend that works at the Sandman location in Victoria book for me and thought that I would get great service.
When we got there around 8/9 at night Wednesday we were told that the entire total amount would be held on a credit card, which is almost $900. I thought that was extremely odd, normally it's only an incidental charge held.

Then we got to the room to find out it was two double beds! For 3 adults??? How does that make any sense?? Ask to be moved and was told noting was available for the night and they would let me know the next day if and when we could get a new room. They never contacted me.
The ice machine was right outside our door and was running ALL night! Let front desk know and they said was supposed to be unplugged at 10pm. That didn't happen.

We also had people partying at 2am standing outside our door.

Room smelled like mold and was not very clean. Kept our shoes on to not touch the floor with bare feet.

We were not offered any compensation. On check out they gave me the front managers card to contact. I left 4 messages with no return phone call.
My friends and I were extremely disappointed, tired ( hard to sleep with two adults on a double bed) and frustrated at the lack of customer service.
Too top it off! Paid for parking, went down to the vehicle to have a parking ticket!!
Will NEVER recommend Sandman, or stay with any of these hotels again.
