Kevin Brink Review of Speakeasy Ales & Lagers

Speakeasy Ales & Lagers seems like it is in the middle of nowhere, with a relatively empty parking lot. As you walk to the entrance you will feel like you are about to enter a real Prohibition era speakeasy, sliding peephole in the door and all. The tap room itself has a dark and mysterious vibe, and is relatively quiet compared to most tap rooms.
The beer itself is very tasty; most of the brews are very hop-centric. Some of my favorites include the Double Daddy Imperial IPA and the Baby Daddy Session IPA. The Big Daddy IPA and the Prohibition Ale are also very good.
Prices for a pint of one of the many Speakeasy ales and lagers are extremely reasonable, probably being the cheapest I have ever seen for craft beer. Check out Speakeasy Ales & Lagers if you have a car in the San Francisco area and are a fan of hoppy beers!
