First the only negative....the walls are a tad thin, so when neighbors are talking or watching TV you can hear them very clearly. Not an issue until it is late at night. But, that was the ONLY negative thing during my stay.
First, on Tuesday night I had gotten a cold. I called the room service line around 7 pm to see if they had chicken noodle soup. The woman who answered (I wish I could recall her name) was very pleasant and said that she would check with the kitchen to see if they would make it (despite not being on the menu). She called me back 10 minutes later and said that they would send a pot of chicken noodle soup and a sprite. About 30 minutes later I got one of the best chicken soups I have ever had, then the room service woman called back to check on me around 8:30 pm to see if everything was okay and she said it was complimentary. The next night she called me back around the same time to see how I was feeling, despite not being 100% I felt a lot better. I have never experienced this quality of service in a hotel and I cannot express how special that was.
Second, on my departure day I checked out, but I had a couple bottle of beer that I wanted to store in a cooler. The restaurant hostess was very pleasant and took my bottles and stored them in the bar cooler for me and a friend to get later. She was very friendly, helpful and sweet.
Finally, every person I encountered from the staff was pleasant, helpful and very courteous. I have stayed at the Omni Severin a few times new and I have to admit that it is starting to feel a little too much like home. Thank you so much and please keep up the good work.
