I just visited Revelstoke. The fun I had in Revelstoke but any fun was over shadowed by the 6 Bear shootings, including a mama bear and her 2 small cubs right outside my camper. Everyone was pointing to the need of a conservation officer. What about the responsibility of all the residents of Revelstoke? Bears would not be visiting campsites or going into shops if residents were responsible with the proper storing of items that attract bears in the first place. If you choose to live in a mountain town behave responsibly. i.e. do not leave dog food in the back or your pick-up!! I am appalled and sicken by the events that unfolded 2 days ago.
