This hotel is very cozy & clean. The king size beds are super plush and soft. I didn't want to get up from bed! The rooms are very clean. One tip: get a room far away from the atrium pool as there is an echo and you will hear the children- unfortunately I thought I was far and could still hear them). Also if you want an outdoor window be sure to ask otherwise you'll get one facing the pool. The best shot for privacy is facing Fred Meyers or the hwy BUT the noise from the Fred meyers trucks in the AM or the hwy noise isn't worth it, so I settled for a window facing the student apts ( not much privacy but at least noise didn't keep me up). The lobby is super cozy and beautiful. The breakfast at Chinuk was very good ( four points breakfast)(I got breakfast vouchers included for $ 7 a day- Good deal). The library is cozy as well. I only wished that the indoor terrace had seating. It's such an awesome space yet empty. I would have love to have quiet time sitting on a couch or arm chair on that 2nd floor terrace "away from it all ". Poppes 360 was fair
(burgers) but the fish n chips were super salty! The staff at the restaurants were all very friendly & pleasant. The front desk staff were also very friendly and willing to help ( minus one at the front desk- not so much) and the shuttle driver was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning on staying in Bellingham WA. It is a very cozy place!!
