I will DEFINITELY be recommending Burton Copeland LLP to any of my family/friends if they need a solicitor, especially if it is relation to a driving offence.

I explained to Gwyn Lewis, who handled my case, what my financial situation was and where I was up so far with the courts... I was convinced I was going to be disqualified from driving due to how aggressively the police handled the situation at the time. I even entered a guilty plea to both charges against me.

I ALMOST DIDN'T CALL A SOLICITOR!!!

I knew I was poorly educated on the law and needed advice at this point and contacted several companies that offer similar services. I was quoted ridiculous prices in comparison and came across all kinds of scare tactics along the way, which just made everything feel like it was getting worse. I'm very savvy with old school tactics and time pressure techniques to 'close a deal' but that didn't change how daunting the experience was. With that being said, before I starting picking up the phone I agreed to myself to get '5 quotes'...

Burton Copeland was the '5th quote' and it was so refreshing to come across a very relaxed, consultative approach to a stressful situation. To be given insight and context on other cases very similar to your own, have your expectations set from an 'best case - worst case' just eased a lot of anxiety. I appreciated Gwyn's style as he educated me as he went.

I learned more in my first 15 minutes on the phone than everything else I had done so far to trying to work out what to do. We had multiple conversations about what information he needed, steps to be taken and how to be efficient so everything is dealt with as swiftly as possible. before we even discussed price... Once a surprisingly reasonsable price was agreed Gwyn proceed to:

1) Talk me through how to provide the correct evidence to have the first charge dismissed from court, and handled this on my behalf.
2) Handle a second offence on my behalf and achieve the minimal possible outcome.
3) Talk me through how I am entitled to be reimbursed for costs incurred against me (which were 5 x the amount I paid, including his legal expenses)

Again, I will definitely recommend this company to friends or family, or of course, if I am ever in need of of their services again. I wouldn't even waste my time speaking to another business.
