This review is written after I have switched from Power NI and have completed my first payment. This will be of particular interest to anybody who like myself had/has a concern over the amount of bad reviews.
When I expressed interest in Electric Ireland, Bernard came to my home and explained everything thoroughly and clearly and give me his phone number if I had any further queries. I received an email from Electric Ireland the next evening with details of when I will be switching over. I received a phone call a few days later to confirm that I was happy with everything. I was grateful for this phone call as I was hesitant to phone to reschedule the time that they had given as the reviews was so negative concerning their call centre. Concerning the phone call for switching over, I found it intense and the customer service agent was not as pleasant as Bernard or the previous customer service agent I spoke to. I appreciate that it is not a pleasant job as you are calling out long numbers and mistakes are easily made. However, this was only a very minor issue. I received my card in the post shortly after this. I have topped up online and it was a very easy process.
Overall, I am happy with Electric Ireland and I would currently recommend them.
