Drove boyfriend to this facility since it was the closest to his home. We arrived at 1:30 am and did not get taken in for triage until about 3:30 am. Throughout this entire wait, the waiting area was being prepped for renovation, carpet was being torn out and there was drilling noise! Imagine being sick and having to sit through that! We were then asked to wait again, this time inside so that at least the construction noise was somewhat muffled. The only chair available was if front of the toilet and on the empty chair next to it was what looked like a dirty used paper gown. That chair never got cleaned throughout our wait. We did not receive a bed until about 6:30 am, and an actual doctor only saw us 1 hour after. Nurses and doctor were sufficiently caring and attentive BUT the wait time was ridiculous. This should have been informed to us at check in. If we had known the wait time would reach 6 hours, I would have driven to another hospital. Would not recommend if you are here for emergency service! Or at least ask what the estimated wait time will be!
