I decided to leave/will a sizeable portion of my estate to ACLU. My bank requires addresses and tax I.D.#s of recipients. I tried to contact the NY & MD offices for a tax# for 3 weeks and never got a callback or e/mail. I understand donations are usually split between the nat'l HQ and donors' state branches. I then called my contiguous states (Penna, DE, VA, WVa, plus DC). I reached WV first, and used them.
