My husband and I are with a non-profit organization and frequent Shephard's annually. This is our third year working and staying with Shephard's and we have ALWAYS had a pleasant experience but this past Veteran's Day week was EXCEPTIONAL and certainly stood out among past visits! I personally want to thank everyone who devoted their time and hospitality to making our stay at Shephard's one we ALWAYS have to look forward to and are never let down in the slightest!
Cody, was absolutely wonderful and I certainly enjoyed communicating and coordinating with her prior to the dates leading up to our event and after! She is truly a beautiful person on the inside and out and incredibly hard working! Mike, from Maintenance recognized my husband and myself from previous stays and assisted us with several needs to help us prepare for our many events! Terry, from Front Desk, is a breath of fresh air and always has a smile on her face when greeting and assisting guests! David, the Front Desk Manager, offered his help to accommodate several families staying with our organization and for that, I am so deeply grateful!!!! Tommy was our bartender for our Welcome Home Reception held in The Wave and he did a superb job multitasking the orders from numerous men and women at our reception. Our reception was certainly larger than other ones hosted before but I never saw Tommy break a sweat and he kept such a great attitude the entire time he was working and everyone was in positive spirits! A huge shoutout to the entire Banquet's Department for kicking some serious tail on a whim's notice! Amber and Kristy and Anthony were AWESOME and I hope to work with them again in the future! Chris, the manager who assisted in coordinating our Welcome Home event was EVERYWHERE! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was up to standard and we had all we needed and if we did need anything else, he was right on it! We were truly blown away by the dedication everyone displayed to making our stay so accommodating. Shephard's truly has an amazing staff and we are absolutely grateful to work in coordination with everyone there! The resort itself, is BEAUTIFUL, but we are utterly grateful it is filled with such wonderful employees that make our stay one that we have to look forward to every year! And if you see our waiter Chris running around outside taking care of guests, please tell him I said, "Thank You," for the laughs and hard work he does to keeping everyone well hydrated and full! I give this resort 5/5! We certainly look forward to our next visit and seeing everyone again next year!
