Bad experience with the service dept.
Honda Qdyssey Van started jerking/accelerating on its own when driving and battery kept dying. Even when car was stationary it would rev up on its own to 3000 RPM.
Service dept found problem with crank shaft sensor. (Minivan is just 4yrs old). Went to pick up car. Original service guy was not there. Other team member made a huge deal of having to help me find the paper work for my car. Found out they lost my registration and insurance paper work. Other team member just shrugged and said he couldn't do anything.. I would have to call back and find the original service tech who took the car in. Battery issue was not fixed, they said it was wrong battery that AAA put in. Was providing 650 CCA instead of 550 CCA.
Took it to AAA, they found one of the cell had gone bad. Replaced it under warranty. Tested further and found the car was drawing 1.27 amps even after the car was locked and not on. They researched it and found my minivan needed a software update at the dealership. Also found that AAA wold have replaced the crank shaft sensor for $265 instead of $380 that southpoint honda charged.
Took it to Autopark Honda since I was mad with south point Honda. They charged $60 for the update even though it's something that came out in 2011. The year I bought my minivan. In the end wouldn't confirm if the battery issues was fixed. So I had to pay for a software update that would stop messing up my car battery even though it's a known issue for Honda and they should have fixed it for free.
Took it back to AAA next day and they verified software update had fixed the issue, it was now drawing 0.2 Amps.
In between all this kept trying to find my registration. And insurance paper work with the original south point Honda service guy. He never called back, never apologized. Kept insisting he had stapled the paper work together. But I only the original envelop in which I had given him the paper work.
In the end gave up and ordered duplicate registration.

So south point Honda, lost my paper work, fixed half the problem, overcharged me and wouldn't apologize for their behavior.

I went there because I bought my minivan from them.
Never again.
Pathetic store, people don't give a crap about you.
