She's a gleaming steel beauty! Spacious new entrance. Top notch new museum. Efficient tram scheduling (like evey six minutes) keeps the flow of visitors moving well. Appealing visuals of fun facts throughout your wait to your retro pod ride to the top. Parking is the only tricky part of visiting this historic attraction. It's worth the effort, but I wish it were easier and closer.
For those in group who don't want to ride to top, there is plenty to enjoy in the museum at the base, with places to sit. In the museum there is even a mockup of the keystone Arch segment with sample photos of views from each window, so you can "see" it without taking the tram ride (and climbing the few more stairs) to the top. Also down below is a little cafe for a quick prepared bite. Extensive gift shop. All around fun fun visit! Family friendly venue, including for grandparents. Worth seeing.
