First off I must express this review is is being written out of extreme aggravation. Against my better judgement my boyfriend and I got a car through the Shannon Motors in Warwick, which has since closed. Nearly every experience since time of purchase (2 years ago) has been less than satisfactory. Called this morning to make our regularly scheduled payment, (which we've not missed once), and the woman who answered tried to charge us a fee for not having insurance, which we do in fact have. Went through all the hoops to get them proof of insurance as it was renewed today and I can see how that may have caused an issue, only for them to STILL try and charge us an extra fee. After being transferred a couple of times the line went dead, leaving me to believe I was hung up on. Have tried calling back twice with no success which will leave us with a late fee on our payment, I'm sure. This is the most ridiculous, unhelpful practice I have ever experienced with a business. I absolutely would NOT recommend this company to anyone. I don't understand how this business can get away with tacking on extra "fees" with no precedent.
