I'm very disappointed with this company's communication and customer service of the billing department. I was a long time customer with very good credit. Apparently an automatic delivery of propane for a small amount was made. (They typically made one delivery per year the past few years which I always paid) The bill was sent by mail and went unopened by me this time. Months later I received a notice in my door that they were going to remove the tank if my unpaid balance wasn't paid asap. I immediately paid my bill online (of only $30) to get my account current again. Weeks later, the tank was removed from my property by the company without any warning. Never once did someone call or send any invoice or notice via email (had an online account) in over 7 months saying there was an outstanding balance or a problem with my account. Call me a modern woman, but an auto-delivery that occurs so infrequently is not on my bill paying radar. I work full time and am balancing and home, work, motherhood on my own. I would expect phone call or email to communicate such a drastic measure in this day and age. After the tank was removed I called the company several times and no one returned my call for two days. Finally I was connected with someone and the only answer repeated to me was that they sent several notices by mail. There was no reason given why they never tried to call me. The company claims to have family values, but that was not my experience. They had no problems removing a tank from a home (on an account with no outstanding balance), rendering me suddenly unable to cook dinner for my two small children.
