Roy Mumma in the Used Car lot is super awesome!!! In December, I was put into a car that was totally opposite of what I wanted by very pushy and aggressive salesmen at a different dealership. I am a very timid person and made the mistake of going to that dealership alone so I understood that if I wanted to trade it in that I would be paying a hefty price (and I was ok with that as long as I had the car that I actually wanted). Every place I went to literally scoffed at me, told me I would have better luck just keeping it. I felt so defeated after a week. I went to Toyota Carlsbad in a whim and was not let down from the minute I got there!!! Roy was super helpful, he actually sat down and showed me charts of different payment plans that could potentially help me. And when showing me cars, he never tried to push me towards a certain one. He listened to my wants and concerns. I told him I didn't have the down payment that day and he offered to work with me until I did get it. When I came back, we worked together on different strategies of payments to get me out of the car I had and into a new one. After a few hours and a lot of patience, we were able to figure out a way to get me out of my 2017 Nissan Rogue and into a 2017 Toyota Prius C with lower monthly payments!!! The dealership was also super fair in my appraisal and was able to cover a good majority of it and I was able to walk away with a lower loan as well!!! Roy was a joy to work with, he showed me how the car worked, how to work every accessory, helped me hook up my phone and chatted with me about our pets! I've never had such a positive experience at a dealership as I did at this one. I live in North Park so it's a far drive for me but my experience was so positive that I wouldn't mind coming back again!!!!! Thank you Toyota Carlsbad and Royota!! :)
