My kids have dark complexion. You can hardly see them in the group photo. But you can barely see them on their individual portrait. I wonder if the photographers know how to take photographs with mixed tones in a group. The general rule for any photographer should be that the lightest person is not too light, while the darkest person is not too dark. If this is too difficult in your world, then at least do justice to the individual portrait. How can you cherish memories when you can't even see yourself in the pic. (which wasn't cheap at all). Note : I have been putting up with this for the last 9 years ...each time thinking it will get better next year, lost hope now :(
