So it was finally time to buy a new car and I was pretty convinced I did NOT want the Honda CRV. My boyfriend made a spreadsheet and the CRV was ranked highest in terms of long term cost and repairs, gas, etc. for what I wanted, but I kind of thought they were ugly, so I didn't do as much research on the models, what they came with, etc.

It was after work one day that my boyfriend and I went to test drive the car that I was pretty convinced I DID want, and the plan was to ONLY test drive, but buy in the next 2 weeks or so. The car was fine, they didn't really have the color I wanted or anything, but I wasn't super picky. However, the sales experience was HORRIBLE. I felt extremely pressured(they were pushing me to come in and sign for the loan the next day! And I'm pretty terrible at saying no sometimes), I wasn't really in love with the car, but didn't feel like I had a lot of options, and the negotiating was non-existent. My BF and I actually left the dealership and got in to a huge fight because we were both unhappy about how it went.

My BF reminded me I should at least test drive the CRV to rule it out, so we saw Crown was open late(THANK YOU from those of us who work 9-5[or 6/7 lol...]) so we went there honestly not having much of an idea of what I would even want.

We walked in and were greeted, but no one jumped down our throat immediately, they let us walk around and kind of look and then we were introduced to Rock. Rock was AMAZING. He had to have known from our cluelessness and timing(like 2 hours before they close) that we weren't really looking to buy that night, and he was so patient and helpful. He actually took me out to the line of CRVs and walked me down them, explaining about models, features, everything. I picked out a few to look at and he patiently got each key so I could sit in them and look.

We decided to take one for a test drive and after the drive, he left us alone without us even asking so we could discuss how we felt(we had to beg the other guy to get away so we could talk). I loved the car. It was beautiful inside and out, had everything I had wanted, the color was perfect, and the price was fantastic. We went in thinking we were ruling out Honda, and because of Rock's patience and humor, I left that night with plans to clean out my trade-in and buy my new car the next day.

Don't get me wrong- I'm in sales myself, so I knew when Rock threw in some sales, but it was the kind I can get behind- doing what is best for your customer.

We checked online that night to see how our price compared, it was great. They gave me a completely fair trade-in price, and made the financing easy.

Everyone I worked with at Crown was fantastic. I couldn't say enough to Crown and Honda about how great Rock was and how he was so much of why we purchased there and when we did, I can't recommend Crown enough to anyone looking for a hassle-free, calm shopping experience.

The financing and sale was simple, Allen Mullens was patient and fantastic to work with. He made the process as close to painless as it gets.

I just made my first car payment, but I still walk out and feel giddy about my beautiful car when I see it. A big thank you to everyone at Crown and Rock for that!
