PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually came into this store this afternoon to purchase somethings for my husband. I was never asked if I needed any help or assistance. I was in the store for over 45 minutes. They had multiple employees there, but no one asked if I needed help or anything. People were standing around using their cell phones and acted if my daughter and I were invisible. I then proceeded to walk up to a older gentlemen at a check out counter and says excuse me is there anyone here that can help me he then says umm I just finished with this customer what do you want . At that point I did make it clear on how long I was in the store and no one has helped me. He then says well, I can page the manager for you and I said that will be fine. It took the manager another 10 mintues just to speak to me. Finally, when the manager walks up to address my concerns he then says that he apologizes for this issue and that he will definitely bring this up in the next employee meeting on how to improve the customer service here.

The one thing that saddens me is that my family and I shop at Nordstrom s across the county and this location is the WORST by far. I m sure race did play a factor in the horrible experience and if you don t look like the stereotype that would shop in Nordstrom s they will not help you!!!!!! From Ladies shoes, men department, and children section. My family and I will NEVER STEP MY FOOT IN NORDSTROMS @DURHAM NORTH CAROLINA, LOCATION EVER AGAIN IN LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
