The experience was great. I went there with all the kids in my grade (grade 8). The cabins are a little dirty but the accommodations are excellent. Buffet style food tastes great. There is a trail in the back of the camp that leads you to Teapot Hill, the terrain is really rough though. There is also an archery section and a rock-climbing area. There is actually a gym beside the rock-climbing area with 2 projectors a stage and big speakers. Rock-climbing is indoors, not outside. I was scammed when I signed up to go with the school. The choice was called "Outdoor Activities," AKA: Hiking the steep terrain during heavy rainfall in running shoes and a non-waterproof jacket and an agenda. I'm guessing that they knew no one will sign up for hiking so they disguised it. There are 2 types of cabins, big and small. I was in the small one when I went. Each small cabin has 2 sides. Each side has 12 beds. When you go with schools, they will separate the boys from the girls and each will get a side of the cabin. There are 2 floors, 4 beds on the bottom bunk, 4 beds for the top bunks and 4 beds on the second floor. The small cabin has heating, a shower, a toilet, 3 sinks (including the one in the "kitchen"), a fridge, a microwave, a small dining table, and a closet of cleaning supplies. The meals are buffet style, the Canadian style food tastes good, the Chinese style fo- there is no Chinese style food. They have a nice big field for outdoor games. A gym for indoor games. There is also a convenience store. The playground is a little worn down but it still is fun. They have a big pool that I didn't go into because no one else went into it, and we weren't allowed to because there weren't enough people with "get wet" certificates. There is also an outdoor stage that my school went to during the first night for a campfire (it wasn't raining).
