I had authorization and called this place to make appointment. The receptionist asked for my past records and said after receiving the records doctor Harrup has to go through them and make a decision if she wanna see me or not . I had my other doctor to sent my records to California eye surgeons. Then I called California eye surgeons back second time to see if they reviewed my records. The receptionist picked up the phone and said he will call me back in 30 min. to let me know. Nobody called me back. I called California eye surgeons for 3rd time. I had to explain everything from begging and remind her everything from scratch. Then she said we have to review the records and call you back. I waited 2 more days nothing heard again, so I called them back again. The same receptionist answered the phone put me on hold for a while and she came back and she said, " sorry sir doctor reviewed your records and said she is not taking adult patient now because of Covid-19." I am asking her but you knew from my authorization and from my first day call that I am an adult, so why you did not tell me the first day that I am an adult and doctor harrup is not accepting any adult patient? The receptionist responses that doctor had to review your records first. I was shocked and could not find any connection between reviewing my records and my age in order for doctor Harrup to make decision to see me or not and it did not make a sense to me at all. This is an act of discrimination because after reviewing my records they tell me oh we do not see adult patient. I would not recommend this place to anyone since they are scammers and they have a deep management issue.
