Had issues with the condo rented. See list below. Their response is attached to each.
1. Ceiling fans were dirty some of the ceiling fans were blowing upward. Therefore, we needed to get up on a chair to change the setting. The dust on the ceiling fans looked as though they were not cleaned for months!
Ceiling fans are something that gets cleaned before season during the deep clean, and mid-season if there is a mini deep clean.
2. The living area ceiling fan was VERY noisy while running.
Our tech that was out there said it was squeaking when on medium or high, we called a vendor to check the fan.
3. Shower liners in both bathrooms are very dirty.
4. Shower curtain in small bathroom was dirty.
Please know that in the future, give us a call and we will come out and replace those items for you if we missed them in cleaning
5. Wheel on beach cart ready to fall off therefore, we were unable to take the cart to the beach concerned that the wheel may fall off on the way down to the beach.
6. Beach chairs are very rusty and had cob webs on them. We did use them since we didnt bring ones of our own.
The beach cart was fine just the wheel covering (Hub Cap) was missing and had to be put back on but the wheel was secure
The chairs were full of sand but after rinsed off they were fine. They do get full of sand and do rust very quickly because of the salt in the air.
7. We were told that the condo provided a washer/dryer. We were ready to do some laundry when we opened up the washer and it was VERY dirty. Therefore, we were unable to wash any clothes! My husband did not pack enough for the entire week because he planned on washing some of his clothes at the condo.
According to our tech who went to the house to check the washer said it was working just fine, and that the set appeared to be almost new and was not dirty.
8. The deck railing was not attached to the condoit moved when we leaned on it. Very unsafe and could be considered a building code hazard.
Out tech said he did in fact have to tighten one of the rails and it is secure now. Thank you for bringing that to our attention
9. People upstairs were VERY loud. I now see that most of the reviews online indicate that this is and has been an issue. I get that this may be something that the owner nor the realty company can prevent. But, when you take a vacation, our expectation is to be able to sleep in beyond 5:00 a.m. Very disrespectful neighbors!
I agree, in the future, please let us know we are always happy ask them to please keep it down.
10. There was a spot on the couch that was very noticeable.
If the upholstery is stained, we can always send someone to clean it. Again, in the future please let us know.
11. Light above the stove does not work.
This was replaced just after your departure
12. Small toilet needs flushed a couple times for the water/waste to go down.
Our tech said all toilets were flushing properly, Tech did not find any toilet clogged issues, or slow drainage.
13. TV in bunk bed area was frozen. I needed to send an email to the Realty company to have it fixed. I know that this can occur anywhere. But, the issues just seemed to keep piling up.
The box just needed to be reset, it took just a few moments.
14. Toilet seats are dirty and need replaced.
Our tech did not find any toilet seats that needed replacement, he did tighten one of the seats
15. The door to the area where the air conditioner/furnace is very dirty.
I did not get a report back on this one!
16. Some electrical wall sockets were loose.
The tech did tighten a few loose wall outlets.

Comments:
