I just purchased my 3rd Honda from Hendrick Honda....

I just purchased my 3rd Honda from Hendrick Honda. The buying experiences I ve had with Hendrick have been great. That s why I keep coming back, and I don t even live anywhere near here! I live in south Florida. I have family here in Charlotte. Two years ago we happen to be driving down South Blvd. As we were passing Hendrick my wife said I think I spotted a silver Pilot that said 4WD it. I had been looking all over south Florida for one but 4WD s in south Florida are hard to come by. I made a U-turn and drove in. She was right, there were several. I went inside to price one out. That afternoon I left in my new Pilot.

Fortunately for me, Sean McLane was there that day. Sean was great to work with and we negotiated a deal that I was happy with and I bought the car. As with many car buyers, you always feel a little apprehensive buying a new car. Nobody wants the mental anguish associated with the process. Within five minutes of shaking hands with Sean, that feeling disappeared.

Sean introduced me to one of his sales people who would take the time to show me several different Pilots and let me test drive them all. Manny DaSilva has to be one of the most pleasurable and patient new car sales people I ve ever worked with. I have purchased a lot of new cars in my life. I spend time researching and comparing cars before I set my mind on what I want to buy. By the time I get done, I know just about everything there is to know about the car. One thing that I ve always hated whenever I ve gone out to shop for a car is when the salesperson does not know his product. Manny KNOWS his product. You can ask questions and he knows the answer. One time I asked a question regarding towing and he said Gee, I don t know that. Give me a minute, I ll go find out. And he did. Awesome. So much better than some BS that you d normally get from a salesperson that didn t know the answer.

Hendrick is the real deal. LIke I said, I have purchased quite a few new cars in my life. It s really my biggest indulgence. Some people like to vacation, some people like to go to Vegas, some people like fine wines and cigars. Me? It s cars. Not Maserati s or Porsche's. I just like every day cars like Honda s and Toyota s. I buy a new one every two or so years. I ve even traded in a car less than a year old because I didn t like it. Twice. With that being said, I can honestly tell you I know the process pretty well. I ve purchased from a lot of different dealers. I have now purchased my third Honda in a row from Hendrick Honda. I bought my 2010 Pilot in April 2010. I traded it in and bought a 2012 Pilot from them almost two years to the day. Yesterday I traded in my wife s 20 month old 2010 Crosstour that I bought from a dealer close to my house in Florida. Instead of going back to that dealer or any other dealer close to where I live down there, I chose to drive the 700 miles to deal with Manny and Sean instead. That speaks volumes for Hendrick. We bought a new Odyssey from Manny. As we were leaving Sean saw me shaking hands with Manny and came out to say Thank you and goodbye. Real people. Real deal. I ll be back.
