Periodically a medium to large group of us meet for lunch. We were a little disappointed to find out that we could not receive individual checks; however, we understood and made the best of it. We were celebrating a birthday and brought our own cake - to our surprise, WE WERE CHARGED $20 and told this upon entering the restaurant. Not only were we charged the $20, we were taxed and the gratuity of 18% reflected as well. We have never had this happen before at any other restaurant. If you will be celebrating a special event, do NOT go to Mike's - find a more accommodating restaurant - there are lots around.
